About Playeroo

Playeroo is an independent comparison site for South African players looking at online casinos and betting desks. We rank a PlayPicks board, publish long reviews and head-to-head pages, and send Play buttons to the operator named on the row. The public site is a finished guide, not a diary of how the pages were written.

The tone is a racing form, not a nightclub flyer: one favourite, a field, and notes in rand. Hollywood Bets sits first in 2026 because it is the betting brand people already carry — soccer, rugby, racing, a small free-bet on-ramp, and a casino tab behind the coupons. Casino-first rooms such as Springbok, Yebo and Silversands sit under that with larger welcomes and casino rules. Named brands — Ace Lucky, Bet Neptune, Lekker Bets, Africa Sports — always open as themselves.

What we do

We score product shape (sport versus casino), whether a ZAR cashier is the honest path, whether a welcome is usable after wagering, and whether Play opens the brand you clicked.
