With seven levels of remarkable design, UMoMA presents displays of global contemporary art, at times combined with historical art retrospectives. Essential, governmental, and philosophical concerns are fundamental to our schedule. As a guest, you are encouraged to participate in guided excursions, artist discussions, seminars, film screenings, and other events with no admission fee
The showcases are developed by UMoMA in partnership with artists and galleries worldwide and frequently draw global attention. UMoMA was honored with a Special Commendation from the European Museum of the Year, and was a leading contender for the Swedish Museum of the Year Award and the Council of Europe Museum Prize.
